Objectives

  • To enable the faculty members and scholars to promote their research work both nationally and internationally through publications and conference presentations.
  • To enable the faculty members and scholars to link their research work with current industrial and economic issues and to come up with best solution.
  • To work for managing and expanding the research programs and linking them with industry and civil society by translating research outcomes into products and services.
  • To make aware the faculty members and scholars about intellectual property rights and patent filling through seminars and workshops.
  • To promote the entrepreneurship and commercialization of technologies, resources, scientific equipment and products.

What is ORIC ?

ORIC at VU is a focal point which functions as an umbrella of the university and deals with all activities pertaining to research and development, innovation and commercialization, collaborations and consultancies, startups and entrepreneurship, trainings/ seminars/ workshops/ symposia and conferences.
